Author's description: FadingImages is a plugin for the Mac OS X screen saver engine that displays the images from a specified folder scattered across your screen and slowly fades them out. It will cycle through all the images before repeating, but since they fade at different rates you will over time end up with different images - and always in different locations and scales.
Our verdict: Despite their small size, there is a certain hypnotic appeal to this never-ending series of images. The module is simple, with only 4 options in the preferences, yet is still highly effective. Being able to choose the displayed images makes it appealing to everyone. All in all we like it!
