Author's description: Renders a fairly realistic water effect over your desktop, showing it distorted through the wavy surface of the water as raindrops fall on the surface. It uses quite a bit of CPU power. There are configuration options to vary the accuracy of the simulation to fit the processing power available.
Our verdict: An incredible module. The water effect is similar to the ripple you get when adding a widget to the OS X Dashboard, but to see it repeatedly against the background of your desktop is truly awe-inspiring. One minor quibble would be that no part of the screen ever goes black, although given the constant colour changing each pixel undergoes this is probably irrelevant. Requires a relatively recent video card.
