Author's description: Watch as a flock of elegant 3D flamingos sleep delicately balanced in a turquoise lagoon while other flamingos walk past at varied speeds and in varied directions or scoop up and sieve the lagoons waters in a search of food. Asian string music plays softly to soothe the spirit. Want a restful night time scene? Just set the time of day to night time and a dark shadowy blue hue is cast over lagoon and flamingos. Prefer a dusky sunset scene? The default dusk setting produces a deep reddish hue.
Our verdict: A nice idea, but unfortunately the execution leaves something to be desired. The flamingos aren't realistic enough and move too slowly (on a 2.16GHz MacBook pro). When compared with something like Marine Aquarium they look positively primitive. The music is not too intrusive but the default volume is too high (this can be changed in the preferences). The module also uses a hefty amount of CPU.
